TNT BLOG: Warrant details how Texas church murder victim died
MIDLOTHIAN, Texas -- A newly-released search warrant issued the day after Terri "Missy" Bevers was killed inside a Texas church reveals that the mother of three suffered "multiple puncture wounds found on her head and chest" the morning she died.
The
Midlothian Police Department warrant describes surveillance footage
which showed the suspected assailant walking the hallways of Creekside
Church early in the morning on April 18, using a hammer to break
windows, while "wearing a black helmet, black balaclava, dark pants,
dark long sleeve shirt, black gloves, and a black vest with Police in
white lettering on the front and back."
Bevers was seen on surveillance video arriving at the church at 4:18 a.m. She was scheduled to teach a fitness class at 5 a.m.
"The
video shows Terri Bevers walking toward where the suspects location
(sic). Neither the suspect nor victim, were seen again on video,"
according to the warrant.

"Terri Bevers had multiple puncture wounds found on her head and chest ... consistent with the tools the suspect was carrying throughout the building," according to the warrant, which also indicates the police seized and searched Bevers' iPhone and iPad.
